Visual Studio 2013 and TFS 2013 Support

I was wondering if you are planning on supporting Visual Studio 2013 and TFS 2013. I am currently using both.

Hi Josh

I have updated it to natively support VS/TFS 2012. I am running it against TFS 2013, but I do have locally installed VS 2012 and 2013. I assume the 2012 dependencies have changed again for VS 2013?

I tried to use it for TFS2013 and it's not working. Actually, it's not writing time information into ticket.

Have you set up the mappings for your work items?

Yes.
Actually looks like app is not able to locate the following fields in TFS:
Duration: Microsoft.VSTS.Scheduling.BaseLineWork
Elapsed: Microsoft.VSTS.Scheduling.CompletedWork

Should I update work item and add this fields?
I checked docs page and as I understood TFS should have these fields by default.
I'm using local TFS 2013.

You can add those fields or just map on the settings page to any fields that you have that will fit your purpose. It depends on your process template you started with, CMMI, Agile or Scrum to what fields you have by default.

I'm not able to install the application if only VS2013 has been installed on my PC.
I have Windows 8.1 + VS2013 Professional.
Do I need to install older version of VS to be able to use the application?

Yeah, it’s built against the Team Foundation 2012 assemblies so VS or Team Explorer 2012 is required. If you get the latest source it should compile fine against the TFS 2013 assemblies.

Took code from source control. Now I'm getting System.Net.Http.Formatting Version 4.0.0.0 is missing. Trying to figure out what is the issue.

Sorry I don’t know what this is about. I don’t have a reference to that assembly. I just built in it in 2013 and it built fine. Let me know if you figure it out.

Cheers

Don't have my tools available right now. That's a reflected assembly to access the controls which are no longer available. Does it just need to be changed from 11 to 12?

Hi!!! If I started a project with a template that does not contains the fields... do you know how can I add them? I'm using TSF OnLine....

TFS Online does not allow template modification as far as I remember. ☹
